Troubleshooting Sign-In Issues

In a world full of apps, passwords and different sign-in flows, we've created an article to assist you in troubleshooting sign-in issues on the Spiffy app!

If you're receiving an error message stating that 'the account does not exist,' check these few things: 

  • Try to remember if you've signed up before (if you haven't, you'll have to create an account before you can sign into it!)
  • Ensure this is the correct email address that you used when signing up or accepting an invite
  • Ensure there are no spaces at the start, end, or within the email address
  • Ensure the email field has no capital letters within it

If you're receiving an error message stating that 'the password is incorrect,' check these few things:

  • Ensure your caps lock key is not on (passwords are case sensitive)
  • Ensure you're inputting the correct letters/numbers
  • Ensure there are no spaces before or at the end of the password  
    • If you've checked these things and it still isn't working, please use the 'Forgot Password' button on the sign-in page and update it prior to trying again.

If you're receiving an error message stating 'unable to login with the provided credentials,' please check these things:

  • Are you using wifi or mobile device data?
    • If using device data, check your 'cellular' settings on your phone to ensure that you've enabled data access to the Spiffy app

Please provide us with as much information about the error message you're receiving (screenshots are great!), as well as the troubleshooting tasks that you've carried out thus far as it will assist us in getting to the bottom of the error!
